Typography
In the first semester, we dealt with the topics of characters, legibility, layout and the design of a typographic project in the typography course. A documentation was created on the various topics. The documentation contains a title page on which the word typography is represented by the arrangement of the capital letters. This representation was also used for all intermediate pages of the four menu items.
Content
At the beginning of the course, different fonts were tested and pixel graphics were created. When it came to readability, the parameters for readability were particularly important. For example, the correct line spacing was determined for a certain font size or the readability of text blocks of different widths. The topic of layout was the design of the documentation. Value was placed on a uniform overall picture.
Pixel Graphics
A corresponding series was created on the subject of pixel graphics, which illustrates dog activities. These can be used in a dog app, for example. The graphics consist of a combination of several pixels. They were developed uniformly and tested in several variants.
